This large jewelry box has plenty of room for all of your most valued items and a secret place for your most treasured keepsakes.
The box is constructed of solid walnut, which was hand selected for the beauty of its grain and stability of its structure. The deep rich tone of the solid walnut body is accented by a solid Zebra wood top and drawer pulls. The entire box was designed around a center “secret” drawer which is held in place by a hidden hand forged brass pin which must be removed for the drawer to slide open. The drawer is marked by a carved heart on this box.
All compartments are lined with velvet and the box features solid brass vertex hinges. The bottom 2 drawers of the box are divided into several compartments perfect for storing smaller items, while the upper two drawers, on either side of the “secret” drawer, are deep and long to accommodate larger possessions. A large space under the lid provides a sixth storage location.
No stains or dyes were used in the making of this piece and all colors seen are the natural colors of the wood.
The piece is signed and dated on the bottom.
